Katazome is a traditional Japanese stencil-dyeing technique using layers and negative space to achieve intricate patterns. Paired with shibori (a method of stylized fabric dyeing) the resulting visual flows like water.
Printed in Japan, then hand-cut and sewn in Hawai‘i, this shirt is made from 100% cotton lawn, an ideal fabric for staying cool in warmer climates. It features signature screen-cutting techniques we've been perfecting for 60 years. A proprietary finish adds a subtle luster.
